Our Knit group Knitorious celebrated World Wide Knit In Public Day on June 13th. We met at 9am at the Marketplace in downtown Ardmore. It's where local farmers and crafters set up booths to sell their goods. Last year we met at Central Park but I feel like the Marketplace was much more fun and the people showed much more interest in what we were doing there. We had a great time as we always do when we meet to knit. The group has grown so much since we first began and I've created special bonds & friendships with the ladies in the group. So here are some photo's from our special day, I'm already looking forward to next year!
Left to right Sis, Diane, Amanda, Mandi (me), Katie & Peggy.
This is Peggy, She and Katie are mother daughter. They are, for now, the only spinners and dyers in our group. They both spin lovely yarns :) She is holding a basket of their gorgeously spun yarns :)
This is Diane, learning to spin for the first time, I'm pretty sure she may end up being our spinner as well :) hehe
This is Sis! This lady knits up a storm!

I've learned so much from all of these ladies. They are great friends of mine. I adore each of theme individually.
