Just This n' That . . .

I cannot believe it's already cool enough here to be using this blanket bag , I honestly thought when it was bought for Abbey that we would never use it, But taking Ashley to school the last 3 mornings I've used it, Thank goodness for it now, Too cute even!!

I snapped a few photo's yesterday to upload to Ravelry for my WIP's (work in progress) This is a Scarf that I started for Ashley at the end of last Summer and I put it off, The yarn was odd to work with, But Ashley asking Misty to knit her a Scarf when she saw her knitting one for her Daughter gave me the motivation to dig it out and work on it again, So I've been knitting on it last couple of days. I'm almost done.

This is my ever growing Knit Textured Afghan, Started this over a year ago, I put it away for awhile and digit out for awhile I'm only about a quarter of the way done with it. I'll never knit a blanket/afghan with 100% Acrylic Red Heart yarn... Something softer next time.

Here is what it should look like when I finish it...

A couple more ball bands, These are a Project WIP for a very special friend of mine, I won't say who, I'm hoping these will match the colors of her kitchen, I'm using several different colors of yarn to make her dishcloths and hanging hand towels, All with the ball band theme! Hope she likes them! I adore her.

Aha, Another Soda Can Cozy! Except, I added some ribbing in the middle and on the bottom and I discovered these fit almost perfectly over my glasses, Another great thing, When you knit these from Cotton you don't even have to use a coaster because the cotton absorbs the moisture!!! Awesome! I'll be knitting a bunch of these for sure! DH wants one in Manly colors.. hehe!! I think I might make the next one a bit longer...

Another Papillion Cloth, I love this pattern, It's challenging to work and who doesn't love butterflies!!!

Not much going on here, Just freezing, I 'm on the computer a bit longer than normal this morning because I wanted to get some things added to Ravelry. You can find me here at Ravelry.. http://www.ravelry.com/people/MissMandiGirl

Til Next time'

Awww...she's too cute in that thing! I love Ashley's scarf, (what yarn are you using)it's so pretty. As for the afghan, I love it but I don't think I would have the patience for it. Your cozy is awesome. I love the ribbing you added and the colors are so bright and pretty! OOh, the Papillion is nice...might have to try that one.
Hugs!

Your afghan looks great.. but, as much as I'd like to make one.. I think that I might be tempted to poke my eyes w/ my knitting needles.. if I tried to make one.

:D

Maybe, I should consider it.. one square per month? AND.. I could be finished in a year? Humm

That baby is so cute in her 'sack'.. looks like she likes it and thinks it's funny too.
